Numerous Flood Warnings have been issued due to the heavy rain that has fallen and continues to fall this morning. The following rivers are under a flood warning, The English River at Kalona, Beaver Creek at New Hartford, The Iowa River at Lone Tree, The North Skunk River at Sigourney, The Iowa River at Wapello, The Iowa River at Columbus Junction, The Iowa River at Marengo, The South Skunk River at Oskaloosa and The Middle River at Indianola. Also numerous Flood advisories have been issued including most of southeastern Iowa, where rainfall of 1-2 inches has been reported since precipitation began.Here is a chart of rainfall amounts reported so far. Rain will continue through early afternoon across the eastern part of the state.

UPDATE: 10:30am The Chariton River at Chariton, The Cedar River at Conesville have been added to the flood warnings. The chart above will be updated later this afternoon or tonight.
