The Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight risk of severe weather for today and tonight for areas in Iowa south of a line from Clinton to Des Moines to Hamburg. The main threat will be large hail. Another threat will be the possible flooding from numerous showers and thunderstorms that will move through today. Rainfall may exceed an inch by sunset this evening with more precipitation to follow on Sunday.
