.A PERSISTENT BAND OF LIGHT TO LOCALLY MODERATE SNOW IS GOING TO
CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY MORNING ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA…
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA…INTO WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN.
THIS BAND HAS PUSHED A BIT FURTHER EAST THIS EVENING…WITH SNOW
AND A WINTRY MIX FROM OELWEIN AND ELKADER IOWA TO CALEDONIA
MINNESOTA. THE MIX WAS SPREADING INTO THE LA CROSSE AND BLACK
RIVER FALLS WISCONSIN AREA AS WELL. BRIDGES AND SECONDARY ROADS IN
AND AROUND THE DECORAH IOWA AREA WERE REPORTED AS SLIPPERY DUE TO
1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW THIS EVENING.
ANOTHER 1 TO LOCALLY 3 INCHES OF SNOW FALL IS LIKELY ACROSS THESE
AREAS THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. SOME FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET IS ALSO
POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING ESPECIALLY FROM OELWEIN AND
ELKADER TO LA CROSSE AND BLACK RIVER FALLS. THUS THE WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXPANDED EAST TO INCLUDE THESE AREAS.
LOOK FOR THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION TO CHANGE OVER TO ALL RAIN BY
