Severe Wather Returns

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk for Severe Weather for today and tonight for southern Iowa, mainly south of a line from Hamburg to Creston to Muscatine. The main threat from thunderstorms that develop will be large hail. The thunderstorms will likely develop after sunset Friday night and will likely last into Saturday morning. There is also a slight risk of Severe Thunderstorms on Saturday as well for generally the same areas as Friday. The threat is the same as well, large hail. Thunderstorms will be possible across the entire state beginning later tonight and through the upcoming weekend.
