Snow is beginning to taper off early this morning, but the wind continues gusting to over 40mph across the state. This will likely lead to ground blizzard conditions in areas that recieved siginificant snow (at least an inch or two). Visibilities have dropped under a mile in several locations and wind chills have fallen below zero in many locales across the state. The gusty winds will continue all day today while the snow will be gone by mid-late morning. Accumulations so far have varied with some of the heaviest totals being in SE Iowa with 5.5 inches at Burlington, 4 inches at Keosauqua and 6 inches in Memphis MO. Winter Weather Advisories continue through Noon across the eastern part of the state. All Winter Storm Warnings have been cancelled.
