Rain will begin to develop across the state late this afternoon into tonight. It may mix with some wet snow in the northern part of the state. A few claps of thunder are not out of the question to the south. It will switch to all snow by Wednesday morning and quickly end from west to east Wednesday afternoon. Total accumulations of snow will generally be light, less than 2 inches possible, with some isolated heavier totals to the N and NE. Strong winds will move in Wednesday which could cause blowing and drifting of any snow that falls with this storm. Travel on the main roads shouldn’t be effected, but outlying secondary roads may have a few problems. Temperatures will fall back into the 20s for highs and single digits and teens for lows through the weekend, with an Alberta Clipper moving in Friday into early Saturday.
