Strong southerly winds will continue throughout the night as a strong low moves NE across SE South Dakota into Minnesota. Wind damage has already occurred in Harlan and 2 Semis were blown over on Interstate 80 near the Shelby Exit. Some showers are moving through the western part of the state, some of these showers may bring wind gust over what would be severe criteria (58 mph). While techinically a warning would be issued, these are just showers with no lightning or thunder, so if a shower moves into the area tonight, treat it as if it were severe enough to produce these strong gusty winds.
