Low this morning fell back below zero again. Temperatures were as low as -16 in Jefferson and -15 in Ames. Only extreme southeast Iowa held on above zero due to clouds from the weak disturbance that brought light snow to the state yesterday. Tonight will be warmer with southerly winds ahead of another weak storm system that could bring a few flurries or a light snow shower. Highs today will be in the teens to around 20 with lows tonight in the single digits and teens.
