The warming trend continues with temperatures getting close or above freezing across the state today. Areas where there is more snow on the ground may hold just below freezing today and may crack above freezing by a few degrees tomorrow. Some areas where little snow is on the ground, temperatures there may easily reach the low 40s today and tomorrow. A cold front is expected to push through Friday with little more than a flurry or snow shower before another storm impacts the state late this weekend into the first part of next week. At that time, bitter cold (though not as bad as last week) will move back into the state.
