Tonight temperatures will plunge to record or near record lows. Records for Thursday morning are generally in the low to mid -20s, the forecast is for temperatures to fall into the -20s in areas north of Interstate 80, while to the south it will drop only into the teens below zero. Wind chills will be VERY dangerous with -25 to -45 below zero wind chills possible through at least Friday morning. Frostbite will occur in as little as 10 minutes in those conditions.
