Lows last night gave a preview of what is to come this week as an arctic express comes roaring in on Monday and Tuesday. Lows fell into the single digits below zero in the areas where the heaviest snow fell from the previous storm. It was -8° in Monticello, -5° at Independence, -4° at Cedar Rapids and -3° at Dubuque. Temperatures will be much colder than this later this week, but it’s a preview of what is to come.
