Your average spring storms are lingering across Central Iowa at this hour, a preview of what hopefully will be plentiful in the spring. This is caused by a strong system that is currently moving across the Middle Mississippi Valley. Scattered thunderstorms have popped up throughout the state, and with enough instabilization, we’ve seen lightning and very small hail with a few of these storms.
Along with this we will see a large warmup across the state tomorrow. Temperatures in the lower 60’s will be possible in Southeastern Iowa, while those farther Northwest will be in the lower 30’s.
