FEW MORE DAYS: The rest of the week is still looking reasonably warm across the state. Today will be cooler with a passing front bringing readings down into the 20s and lower 30s for highs, which is a little above seasonal norms for this time of year. Sunshine will be plentiful with a few passing clouds across the northern half of the state. Warmer tomorrow with readings well into the 40s and perhaps lower 50s before the front moves in during the day Saturday and brings much colder weather for next week.

BRRRRRR: Temperatures next week aren’t going to be what they have been lately. We might be lucky in some areas to get into the teens for highs Monday and perhaps Tuesday after nighttime lows will be below zero, perhaps double digits below zero in some areas. It will slowly warm during the week, but only make it back to seasonal levels by the end of next week in time for a storm system to come through that may bring us the next chance of some “widespread snow” to the area. We may see a few spits of snow Saturday and perhaps Sunday with the passing front but no real accumulations from that at this time. No real consensus at this time past next weekend so we’ll have more on that later on.
