Blizzard Conditions are currently being reported near Fort Dodge. A Blizzard Warning remains in effect through Sunday for the following counties, Osceola, Dickinson, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Ida, OBrien, Lyon, Sioux, Plymouth, Woodbury, Calhoun, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Franklin, Hamilton, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect in NE Iowa. A Blizzard watch remains in effect in Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Grundy, Hardin, Marshall, Story, Tama, Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Benton, Linn, Jones, Jackson and Clinton. There are numerous wind chill advisories and watches and Winter Weather Advisories. Travel is not advised in and around Ames and north of Mason City at this time. This will likely spread as the Blizzard conditions continue to move east.
