The precip has begun to enter the state. Some light precip was scattered around the state, some of it not quite reaching the ground yet. No reporting stations at 4pm were reporting any precip, but that is likely to change in the next few hours. Of note, the next storm on Saturday is getting some attention now as a Blizzard Watch has been issued in far NW Iowa into South Dakota and Minnesota. More on that storm after this one departs. The storm this weekend will have a lot more wind and could be just as dangerous as this storm moving through tonight into early tomorrow.
