A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Tuesday. The advisory includes the entire state of Iowa except, Lyon, Sioux, Osceola and Dickinson counties in NW Iowa. A Widespread band of 3-6 inches will be possible in the central part of the state from west to east, with lesser amounts to the north and south. Isolated heavier totals may be possible in some areas. This snow will be light and fluffy and will have the tendency to blow around more, however winds will generally be between 5-10 mph during the event, so blowing and drifting will not be a big factor here.
