This is a skycam shot from Hattiesburg MS. Yes it looks like snow in Iowa, but this is in the deep south. They are expecting 1-3 inches of snow down there today from a cold core upper low. Some locations may recieve more than that. There will be some places in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama that may have more snow cover by tonight then some parts of southern Iowa. It’s not even Winter yet!
