A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect in NC and NE Iowa. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued and will be in effect until tomorrow evening for a large portion of the state. The only places not in either Warning or advisory is SE Iowa, SW Iowa and Lyon County in NW Iowa. Freezing Rain will continue mainly between US 30 and IA Hwy 3. With snow and a mix to the north of IA Hwy 3, and rain with a bit of Freezing rain south of US Hwy 30. Snowfall amounts will be determined how much freezing rain or plain rain will fall before the cold air wraps around the backside switching all the precip to snow. Amounts will still be between an inch in the south up to 8 or more inches in the north. Road Conditions have begun to worsen, so if you have to travel, be very cautious and slow down, but if you don’t have to travel, it’s best to stay at home.
