ANOTHER WARM DAY: With regards to the middle of December, 40s and 50s are not typical of this time of year, so a warm day is in store again across the state with increasing cloudiness with the storm system approaching from the southwest.
RAINY SATURDAY: No real changes with the system late tonight into Saturday. It will be mainly in the form of some rain. There could be a mix across the northwestern counties but there shouldn’t be much of a problem with that at this time. Rain continues through the day Saturday ending from southwest to northeast during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Highs will be in the 40s to near 50 with slowly falling temperatures in the afternoon mainly in the western counties as the storm system departs. Amounts will be generous with a half to three quarters of an inch possible across the state. This would be the most rainfall in some areas in over a month.
DIALING FOR SNOW: Another storm that looks very weak will move through the state next week, but it won’t produced much more than a few flurries at best across the state, outside of that no real chances to see a white Christmas across the state this year. It does look to be cool and seasonal with highs around 30 and lows in the teens if the models pan out.
