A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Monday evening into Tuesday for the following counties in Iowa, Winneshiek, Allamakee, Floyd, Chickasaw, Fayette, Clayton, Cerro Gordo, Wright, Franklin, Butler, Bremer, Calhoun, Webster, Hamilton, Hardin, Grundy, Black Hawk, Carroll, Greene, Boone, Story, Marshall, Tama, Audubon, Guthrie, Dallas, Polk, Jasper, Poweshiek, Cass, Adair, Madison, Warren, Adams, Union, Clarke, Taylor, Ringgold, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Benton, Linn, Jones, Jackson, Iowa, Johnson, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott.

Significant snow may fall in the watch area, with accumulations over 6 inches possible. Exact amounts will be better determined as the storm continues to develop in the Desert Southwest. The current storm moving through today is NOT going to produce a lot of snow, mainly an inch or less.
