QUIET WEATHER: The weather pattern continues with some mainly dry weather over the next week or so, with only slight chances of any precipitation in the state. A few flurries may fly today across the far southern counties which won’t amount to anything. Sunshine returns statewide Tuesday and will last for most of the week with temperatures slowly climbing out of the 30s and 40s for highs into the 50s by the end of the week.

WHERE’S THE SNOW?: Some people are beginning to ask where the snow is as we near the month of December. Right now the GFS has been inconsistent with regards to any potential storms for the first week to ten days of December. This run has a significant storm in about 10 days time but the likelihood of that storm trend continuing doesn’t look too promising. In any case it does look like it will get much colder as we head into the month of December with several possible arctic plunges from the north. This could bring (if it happens) readings down into the single digits for lows and highs in the 20s.
