DRY WEEKEND: No changes this weekend with only sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures and some gusty southwest winds. Readings will be in the 50s to near 60 both Saturday and Sunday. Slight chance of rain on Monday may bring a few hundredths at best across the state but some areas will not get a drop.
THANKSGIVING: The big travel day on Wednesday shows no real problems here or anywhere else outside the Pacific Northwest where a big storm will slam into the coast with some coastal rain and mountain snow. Anyone flying to San Francisco, Portland or Seattle may experience some delays Wednesday from the system. It will remain warm around here for Turkey day with above average temperatures and south to southwesterly winds across the state.
COLDER AIR AWAITS: There are signs of some colder air making inroads into the state after the holiday into the first part of December. This would be surprising by any means, but the GFS has shown some possible systems bringing more white instead of wet across the state. Right now none of these storms look too serious but we’ll keep watching.
