NOTE: Procedure was rescheduled to after Thanksgiving so IWR’s will continue as normal.

TRANQUIL WEATHER: No big changes in store across the state over the next 5 days or so. Slowly warming temperatures and partly to mostly sunny skies. Readings will warm back into the 50s by the latter half of the week with lows back around the freezing mark.

THANKSGIVING WEEK: Big travel week ahead next week with Thanksgiving a week from tomorrow. Next Wednesday doesn’t look too bad across our neck of the woods, but the worst weather looks to be across the Pacific Northwest with a storm moving in there. There could be some more travel issues during the weekend as everyone heads back home, but this will most likely change over the next few days.

NO BIG STORMS: Not seeing any big storms over the next two weeks across the area, and no real plunges of bitter cold at this time. It’s getting close to the time of the year for the first inch of snow to fall. Some areas have seen their first dusting of snow but not yet an inch (outside some isolated areas in NW Iowa).
