Models are showing a better chance for our first accumulating snow for the season. This will come late Saturday night into Sunday with the possibility of 1-2 inches of snow possible mainly northeast of a line from Algona to Ames to Keosauqua. The rest of the state will see some flurries with little if any accumulation possible. Until then temperatures will remain in the 40s with mostly sunny skies with lows in the 20s.
More on this storm will come later today and Saturday.
