QUIET FEW DAYS: Mainly sunny skies and readings in the 50s and 60s to near 70 across the state today through at least Friday before the next storm moves in. It could be a bit breezy Friday ahead of the approaching storm however.
SATURDAY STORM: Models are still in decent agreement regarding the possible severe weather threat on Saturday across the state. There are still some unanswered questions of which we’ll begin to know the answers to in the next day or so, until then we can only mention that some of the thunderstorms on Saturday could become severe with large hail, damaging winds and perhaps a few tornadoes being possible. Rainfall will be beneficial with at least an inch across the state with higher amounts in areas that get heavier thunderstorms.
MORE ACTIVE: The weather pattern continues to be more active through the middle and end of the month with several storm systems possibly moving through the state. One on the 18th would need watching if we continue to see that on model runs over the next few days. That one could bring colder air down which may bring some flurries to the state in about 10 days time or so. But confidence is still rather low during that time frame, so we’ll continue to monitor for any trends in future IWR’s.
