Tonight will likely be the coldest night of the season so far with temperatures plummeting down to 10° or slightly below that. This will all depend on how strong the wind will be. If there is still a strong enough breeze, it will hold temperatures from falling into the single digits. The best chance for single digit lows tonight will be north of US Hwy 30, where lows will drop to between 6-10° where the rest of the state will likely be in the lower teens. The colder valley locations will easily drop into the single digits overnight. This will be the coldest night since early March when it dropped into the single digits above and below zero. There will be more of these to come this winter.
