BREEZY AND CHANGEABLE: A very up and down forecast over the next few days across the state starting off with some warmer and breezy conditions today ahead of a disturbance that will be quickly moving through from the northwest late in the day into the evening. This system could bring a very isolated shower to the northeastern counties of the state with the better chances over Minnesota and Wisconsin. Readings today will be in the 70s to lower 80s while Thursday could see temps back down into the 60s to middle 70s.

SPOKES OF COLD: The eastern trough isn’t through with us yet however, as another system comes down from the northwest here on Friday into Saturday. This could bring a better chance of some showers and perhaps a thunderstorm Friday night into Saturday. Saturday looks to be depending on cloud cover fairly brisk with readings in the 50s and possibly 60s. Readings warm back quickly Sunday and into next week.

OCTOBER TROUGH: GFS is showing a trough over the Great Lakes. This will bring more cool air down to begin the month of October and perhaps some rain chances at that time. Doesn’t look like any widespread frost or freeze conditions in the next two weeks (could see isolated such conditions), but that time is coming upon us now.
