That’s if the 06z NAM model is right, we could see readings dropping into the upper 20s to middle 30s across the state. This would bring at least widespread frost to the state if not some places getting a hard freeze for a short time. This would effectively end the growing season about two to three weeks early in many areas if this pans out. The 00z and 18z NAM from yesterday and last night showed the same thing relative to temperatures Tuesday morning. Frost Advisories and or Freeze Warnings could be required for at least the northern half of the state Tuesday and possibly even Wednesday morning. Stay Tuned.
