RAIN ON THE WAY: Rain showers and cooler conditions will move into the state later tonight and into Monday. Today will be nice with sunshine and readings in the 70s and 80s. Increasing clouds and rain will cool readings down on Monday into the 60s to near 70. The 00z Run is a bit slower with the system which could keep the rain longer in the western counties than is depicted in the forecast on the video. In any case skies will clear out Monday night and we could see some really cold temperatures Tuesday morning.

ANOTHER SHOT: Later in the week, another shot of cooler air will come down the pike with some more showers at that time. This one doesn’t look as strong as the storm moving in later tonight, but some rain is possible along with much cooler temperatures again after readings rebounding after this first cool off.

SEASONALLY SPEAKING: The remainder of the month looks to remain near seasonal conditions across the state with some chances of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. No real cold pushes after later this week and no real warm ups either. We’ll keep watching.
