COLD PUSHES: The first of several cold pushes down from Canada will be moving through the state with some rain showers. Readings will be held down into the 60s in the eastern counties of the state, while the western counties will see skies clearing and mostly sunny skies by the afternoon with readings in the 70s. Friday will see 70s statewide with sunny skies.

GREAT WEEKEND: The weekend looks great again with readings in the 70s and lower 80s. There will be no weather problems tailgating for either Friday night High School Football and Saturday college football games. Some of the mornings will be a bit cool but temperatures will warm quickly.

ANOTHER PUSH: Another cold front will move into the state Tuesday with some showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Behind this system temperatures will really take a nose dive down into the 50s to lower 60s with rainfall. Temperatures will rebound back into the 70s by Thursday before another push of colder air at the end of the week. Several more are possible into the end of the month although the GFS has another ridge back over the state toward the end of the month but this will bring mainly seasonal readings at that time.
