The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has posted Mesoscale Discussion #1908, which relates to the possibility of a Severe Thunderstorm Watch over Iowa. Potential does exist overnight for at least a threat of large hail, damaging winds, and even a isolated tornado over North Central, North Western, West Central, and Central Iowa. While a lot of uncertainty exists, trends will be monitored closely and if warranted the Storm Prediction Center will issue a watch.
