BRUSH BY: Still looking at the Isaac remnants coming past the southeastern corner of the state late tonight and mainly Saturday into Sunday. Rainfall could be significant just to the east and south of the state, but far SE Iowa could receive an inch or so, with drastically lower amounts to the north and west. Readings today will be in the 80s and 90s with more clouds moving in and slightly cooler than that Saturday except in far northern and northwestern Iowa where they will see mostly sunny skies with readings in the 80s to near 90.

SEASONAL SEPTEMBER: Looking more like the month of September is going to be seasonal with regards to the temperatures across the area. The GFS is also showing some decent chances of rainfall as well, albeit not from remnant tropical system as is the case with Isaac. This looks to continue at least through the middle of the month, but like always this could change on the very next run.
