Forecasters at the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma are currently monitoring the Northeastern portion of our viewing area for a Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

A new boundary layer has setup shop thanks to storms this morning in Central Minnesota reaching down to Algona, along with another boundary layer over Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa and a Cold Front centered over Northern Illinois and Northwestern Iowa.

Though the probability for a watch currently sits at 40%, chances will be rising for a damaging winds and large hail threat for tonight.
