VERY HOT: It’s going to be very hot over the next few days, with temperatures well into the 90s if not a few locations possibly getting into the triple digits. Some heat indices well be well over 100 as well. This is why there is heat advisories in effect for a large section of the state today and perhaps again on Thursday.
SOME RAIN CHANCES: The GFS is bullish on some chances of rain moving back into the state on Thursday night through Saturday mainly during the overnight hours. This is very conditional however, although the QPF chart has picked up on the possibility with rainfall amounts possibly getting over a half to three quarters of an inch. We’ll see and monitor any changes in future videos.
INDEPENDENCE DAY: GFS is drier now with the holiday with mainly partly to mostly sunny skies and little if any chances of rain possible, although we’ll see if there’s any changes in future runs.
NEW CHANGE: Forecast Videos are going to be shifting from very early morning to evening, and we’ll be using the 18z run. This will begin later this evening, so today there will be TWO videos.
