NEW HEADER: We have installed the Summer 2012 header that will last until autumn. Though not the actual start of summer, we usually change the header around this time.
MORE SEVERE: The Storm Prediction Center has posted a Slight Risk of Severe Weather for Eastern Iowa. Thunderstorms are expected to develop late in the afternoon with the potential of becoming supercellular. Primary threats from this will be Large Hail, Damaging Winds, and Flash Flooding.
WEEK RAIN CHANCES: There are rain chances all through this week with up to 2 inches possible Thursday. This is very far out, and we are uncertain of this.
COOLER TEMPERATURES: Temperatures will be much cooler than yesterday with high’s reaching the 70’s and 80’s.
