All of Iowa

Nearly Dry Weather for a while

It’s going to be one long week before the Memorial Day holiday. Some areas of the state will get some needed rain while other don’t. The chances of rain this week don’t look very good as of now, but we’ll see as we go along. Some parts of eastern Iowa especially are really beginning to dry out. The new drought outlook that comes out Thursday morning may specify that to some extent. Temperatures will slowly rise into the Hot Summer 90s by this weekend with isolated chance of showers and storms at that time. Some areas especially in the NW may get rain at mid-week.

VIDEO: Didn’t get a video done for today last night due to a very bad onset of a cold and cough. We’ll try to get one done tonight.
