The rain has pushed out of the state this morning, leaving behind cooler and drier weather to the state. It has cleared west of Interstate 35 and sunshine should return to the eastern part of the state by mid to late afternoon. Rainfall amounts from this storm were anywhere between a few tenths all the way to over an inch in some places. The highest amounts were 1.80 near Belle Plaine, 1.74 near Iowa City and 1.71 at Rockwell City.
