There is a slight risk of severe weather Tuesday west of a line from Mason City to Omaha. The main threats on Tuesday in that area will be large hail and damging wind. This is due to a cold front that is expected to move into the state in the afternoon. As they move off to the east, the storms will become elevated and the severe threat will lessen. However, storms will still be likely in all areas of Iowa Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning.
