The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory effective from 3am until 8am Saturday morning for the following counties, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Washington, Mercer IL and Rock Island IL. There is also a Frost Advisory from 1am until 8am for Allamakee, Clayton, Houston MN, Crawford WI and Grant WI. A Freeze Warning is in effect from 3am until 8am Saturday morning for Jo Daviess IL, Carroll IL and Whiteside IL. Clearing skies and lighter winds tonight into tomorrow morning will drop temperatures down into the upper 20s and lower 30s across the advisory area. Plants will need to be covered or brought inside during this time if you want to keep them alive. Temperatures will quickly warm during the mid-morning hours.
