The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO Watch effective until 11pm for the following counties, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Hancock, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Winnebago, Worth, Clay, Dickinson, Chickasaw, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek and Fillmore MN, Houston MN, Mower MN, Freeborn MN, Faribault MN, Martin MN and Jackson MN. Storms have begun to fire in northwestern Iowa and southwestern Minnesota. Along with the threat of tornadoes, large hail and damaging straight line winds will be possible with the storms as they rapidly move through the area.
