The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm watch effective until 1am for the following counties, Cedar, Des Moines, Henry, Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, Washington, Henderson IL, Mercer IL and Rock Island IL.

Storms are moving through the central and south central counties of the state. These storms will bring some damaging straight line winds with a minor threat of large hail. Continue to be weather aware tonight.
