The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO watch effective until 9pm for the following counties, Adair, Adams, Audubon, Cass, Clarke, Dallas, Decatur, Guthrie, Madison, Ringgold, Taylor and Union. Storms have fired across southwestern Iowa and are moving NE at 25-30mph. Besides tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds will be the threats with any of the storms that move through, along with brief heavy rain that could cause some flash flooding.
