FROSTY MORNINGS: Several mornings ahead will have a good chance to see frost across a large portion of the state. A Freeze Watch has been issued for all but the far southeastern counties of the state Monday night into Tuesday morning. Frost and Freeze conditions are possible as well Wednesday morning, mainly in the eastern and northeastern counties. Highs will be in the 50s to near 60 across the state with slight warming into the 60s by the end of the week.

STORMY WEEKEND: The weekend ahead isn’t going to be as glorious as this past weekend, with several chances of showers and thunderstorms from late Thursday through Sunday across the state. Some of the storms could become strong to severe but it’s looking like the best chances for severe weather may be just to our south and southwest of the state.

QUIETER AND WARMER: Farther into the month of April, temperatures look to warm back to above average with drier conditions. We saw some storm systems on the run yesterday which are no longer there on this run. We’ll have to wait and see if this warmup is a trend or just a blip on the model that may go away on the next few runs.
