POSSIBLY RAINY WEEK: The GFS has brought better chances of rain to the state over the next week. First off a storm system comes into the state late Monday lasting through the first half of Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible at that time. Some of the storms could become strong, possibly severe with hail being the main threat as was the case with the storms on Saturday night across the eastern counties. Another storm which in past runs was going to miss the state to the south, this run has it pushing further north grazing the state Wednesday into Thursday with some shower activity. This would keep temperatures down in those areas, possibly the lower 60s, while the rest of the state would see mid 60s to lower 70s.

EASTER WEEKEND: Saturday still looks wet across at least the western half of the state, with the eastern half getting some shower and storm activity Saturday night into Sunday morning. This may effect some Easter services that are held outdoors.

FARTHER OUT: Still seeing several storm systems out two weeks with a large system at the end of the forecast around the 16-17th. There is also a cool off especially after Easter which may last a day or two before warming back up again.
