* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
SOUTHEASTERN PAGE COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN IOWA…

* UNTIL 915 PM CDT

* AT 838 PM CDT…DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 7 MILES NORTHWEST OF
BURLINGTON JUNCTION…OR 14 MILES NORTHEAST OF TARKIO…AND MOVING
EAST AT 25 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
COLLEGE SPRINGS AND SHAMBAUGH.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. ALTHOUGH
NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY…IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED…ACT QUICKLY.

BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH…
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL…DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION…MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE
