STORMS COMING: The chances of showers and thunderstorms are going to be improving with the storm system slowly making its way toward the state. The best chances look to be on Monday and Tuesday with some of the possible thunderstorms becoming severe. A blog post on any severe weather outlooks will be posted later this morning. Rainfall looks to be quite significant, with 1-2″ of rain possible, with isolated heavier totals.

REMAINING WARM: The above average temperatures look to continue as well, although the readings will come down into the 60s to near 70 later next week behind the storm system, but nevertheless it will still be 15-20° above average even after the passage of this storm system. Looking to the end of the month and the beginning of April, it still looks above average then as well, with several chances of some rainfall to quench the dry ground when it will desperately need it.
