WARM AND STORMS: The record warmth continues with more record highs broken across the state and region again on Friday and possibly again this weekend as well. There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm today, but they will be very isolated with many not getting anything. Readings will remain in the 70s and 80s again at least through the weekend with slight cooling into the 70s early next week and even colder by the middle to end of next week.

PATTERN CHANGE?: Looking through the end of the month and to the first of April, there doesn’t seem to be any change in the pattern that we’ve been under the last few weeks, at least at this time. This will mean continued warmer than average temperatures and possibly more storm activity which is much needed with the dry ground across a large section of the state.
