WINDY TODAY: Showers and isolated thunderstorms will be moving out of the state early this morning (likely before you watch the video). Winds will be gusty all day out of the west and southwest. A wind advisory is in effect for a large section of the state through this evening. Winds may gust over 45mph at times during the daylight hours. Temperatures will also be dropping throughout the day back into the low 30s by the evening.
SCRAPPING BY: Another system will move across the state on Friday bringing some wintry precipitation mainly across the southeastern half of the state. There may be some light accumulations, but it’s too early to determine amounts at this time. Temperatures however will cool down for the weekend back into the 30s to near 40 for highs.
WARMING UP FOR STORMS: We warm back up again next week back into the 50s and maybe even 60s if conditions are right. This will be ahead of another potent system that may bring another shot at some showers and thunderstorms by mid-week. Looking farther out, a few storms here and there but no real cold snaps from Canada. Are we done with Arctic cold? Too early to tell.
