A BREAK: Snow will come to an end from west to east early today after dumping in some places quite a bit of snow while others steered clear from the heaviest totals. Temperatures will be cooler as can be expected with snow on the ground. Readings will be in the 30s with lows in the 20s. Sunday will bring warmer temperatures but also wind. A storm will move to the north of the state which may kick off a shower or a sprinkle at best, however most of the moisture looks to remain to our north.

GIRLS BB WEEK: As happens when the Iowa High School Girls Basketball tournament occurs, usually bad weather is associated. This week looks to be no different. A storm Tuesday into Wednesday may bring some rain or a bit of a wintry mix to the state. The far northern and northwestern counties could get in on some snow accumulations, but any deviation in the track may change that. Another is possible again at the end of next week as well.

BIG CHANGES TO BLOG: Again on March 1st, big changes will be coming to The Iowa Weather Blog, stay tuned.
