CONTINUED WARM: The warmer than normal weather will continue for a few more days before another cold balst comes in from the northwest. In the meantime, temperatures will be in the 40s across the state with maybe a few 50s, with partly to mostly sunny skies.

COLD PUSH: Wednesday will be a transition day. The cold front will move through during the afternoon and evening hours. With it will come a slight chance of a flurry or light snow shower. No accumulations are expected. Breezy conditions will follow with readings dropping back to January levels on Thursday and Friday.

ON THE BOUNDARY: The model run does show the state over the next two weeks on the boundary between the cold air to our north and northeast and the warmer air to the south and west. With that being the case, this will bring some chances of precipitation to the state in about a week to 10 days. Anything right now would be significant given the lack of snow this season, but given that these systems will be coming from the northwest, light amounts are likely with any of the storms.
